N ScaleFeatured Layout N Scale
This page is to feature N Scale as well as HO or any other scale layouts that are submitted by our friends and customers. We hope to change these on a regular basis so modelers may display their work. We would encourage anyone to submit to this page regardless what stage your layout is currently. People are always interested all the way from Layout plan to bench work to completed layouts. Let’s see them!!!

To submit please send a description of the layout and a minimum of six pictures and or maps , plans ,diagrams or whatever pertains to YOUR layout and please state the scale of the layout as well.
 Send submissions in .jpg format to: fhs@fiferhobby.com and type Featured Layout in the title.

My small layout started out as a 2' x 4' and soon became a 4' x 7' L-shape. Now it is approximately 4' x 8'
I call it the Reading and PA Railroad. It is mostly fictitious, but some of the names are from actual places in Central and Western Pennsylvania. The layout features two coal mines, a grain & feed facility, a foundry / iron works, several factories, a fuel depot, and two passenger depots.

This is a work in progress, and I am having a great time with it. Many, many of the detail parts, and much of the track and rolling stock came from Fifer Hobby.
